One of Australia’s most popular and anticipated events of the year; Brisbane Riverfire 2025! Viewed from the Southbank riverside promenade, watch as RAAF aircraft fly low over the Brisbane river close to the towering buildings of the CBD. Afterwards enjoy one of the largest firework displays in the southern hemisphere lasting over 20 minutes! The big night ends but it’s only the beginning for the 3 week long brisbane festival showcasing major international arts.
Aircraft shown in order are:
C-17A Globemaster III: A large, military transport aircraft. Its massive size and low-level flybys over the river make for an impressive sight.
C-27J Spartan: A military transport aircraft. It has a high-wing design and is a regular feature at many airshows and displays.
EA-18G Growler: A specialized electronic warfare aircraft that is a variant of the F/A-18F Super Hornet. It's known for its powerful engines and distinctive "growl" sound.
