If you're looking to correct the speedometer on your Mustang, CJ Pony Parts has created a tutorial video to help you get started.
The speedometers in 1965-1998 Mustangs are calibrated mechanically using a drive gear and a driven gear. There are two styles of driven gears available, described by Bill in the above video, so make sure to use the formula to determine which driven gear you need.
For 1999-2014 Mustangs, you'll have to re-calibrate your speedometer electronically using a speedometer calibration box (1999-2008 manual transmission) or an XCalibrator Custom Tuner.
