🟩 The Setup – Power vs Agility:

It was early morning, the roads were empty, and the air was filled with excitement. I was ready with my Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R, a true superbike equipped with a 998cc inline-four engine that roars like thunder.
On the other side stood my friend on the KTM RC390, a smaller but fierce machine, known for its aggressive throttle, lightweight frame, and sharp control.

We both geared up, adjusted our GoPros, and decided to put these two bikes to the test in a friendly highway competition. The goal was not to prove who’s better — but to show how different power levels behave when passion meets precision.

⚡ Round 1: The Launch

The signal dropped, and both bikes took off.
The RC390 shot ahead in the first few meters, thanks to its light weight and quick torque delivery. But once the ZX10R crossed 6,000 RPM, it unleashed a beastly roar that echoed across the highway. Within seconds, the superbike flew past, hitting triple-digit speeds effortlessly.

The RC390 was fighting back — giving everything it had. It’s amazing how a 390cc bike can keep up, even momentarily, with a liter-class superbike on open roads. It shows the skill of the rider and the heart of the machine. 💪

🛣️ Round 2: Highway Stability

At 150+ km/h, the Ninja ZX10R felt like a jet — super stable, aerodynamic, and composed. The windblast was minimal thanks to its race-derived design. Every throttle twist felt like launching into space.

Meanwhile, the RC390 rider was holding strong. Even though the smaller bike can’t reach the same top-end numbers, its nimbleness and control make it ideal for corners and mid-speed stretches. It’s not always about engine size — it’s about handling and technique.

Both machines showed their character — the ZX10R, with raw superbike power; the RC390, with sheer determination and control.

💨 Round 3: Top Speed and Braking

The Ninja ZX10R easily crossed 290 km/h on a long, safe stretch — pure madness but fully controlled. The sound of the inline-four engine was a symphony for bikers.
On the other hand, the RC390 touched around 170 km/h, giving everything it had — pushing limits without fear. The way the rider handled corners, wind, and traffic was pure skill.

When it came to braking, both bikes performed exceptionally well. The ZX10R’s Brembo brakes and advanced electronics made stopping at high speeds smooth and safe. The RC390, being lighter, had excellent agility in slowing down and controlling turns.
