内容
明末五年（1632年）、盗賊良と仲間は人買いから依頼を受け取れた。
四名の小娘を華州から洛陽まで護衛しないといけない。
最初に、良は小娘たちが金持ちに売られ、養女になれると思っていた。
だが途中に「穂」っていう小娘から護衛の“真実”を教えられた。
小娘たちを買ったのはもう千年を生きられている豚妖だった。
豚妖は女の子を食べるのが好みで、毎年誕生日になると、祝うために人買いを命じて陝西から女の子を攫う。穂のお姉さんがこの化け物に食われた。
穂は良が護衛をやめて、彼女と一緒に豚妖を暗殺に協力し、命が落とされた姉と少女たちの復讐を果たせることを望んでいる。
しかし良は穂のことを完全に信用していない、彼女には多くの謎が埋もれているようだ。
良は情報を集め、真実を確かめ、そして自分が何をするか決める。
