PA28 Flight: North Weald to Duxford (Stansted Runway Crossing!)

Join us on an exciting adventure as we take a flight in our Piper PA28, registration G-EGSX, from North Weald (EGSX) to Duxford (EGSU)! This video captures the highlights of our memorable trip, including a rare clearance from Stansted ATC to cross the Stansted Control Traffic Area (CTA). We even had the incredible experience of crossing Stansted's Runway 04 threshold right behind a landing Boeing 737!
After a smooth landing at Duxford, we were greeted by friendly marshals and took advantage of our landing fee, which included two hours to explore the world-renowned Duxford Imperial War Museum. The museum is a treasure trove of aviation history, filled with fascinating exhibits and aircraft. While we were disappointed to miss the Concorde tour due to the late hour, we were still blown away by the sheer scale and variety of the collection.
