Day one of our 2019 Bourbon Trail trip, and our first stop was Lexington, KY. After a night at the Hopcat, we headed to Wild Turkey Distillery for a tour and then stopped at the newly opened Castle and Key distillery. We stopped at Woodford Reserve for lunch before heading to Bourbon County and Hartfield & Co. Distillery. We finally headed back to the Distillery District in Lexington, stopping at James E. Pepper for a tasting, and then Barrel House Distilling. We finished the night with a bourbon, beer, and burger at Oscar Diggs.
