At the core of Point of Singularity was the scientific theory of the Big Bang.
The installation reimagined the stages of the Universe’s birth as a metaphor for artistic creation, tracing the path of light from the singularity to the emergence of life.
The project was ambitious in its technical execution as well. A 360° setup inside a sphere weighing 34 tons and rising to the height of a three-story building was constructed on a steel framework with an integrated bridge, allowing spectators to step into the very center of the space.
Over the course of three and a half months, it was seen by 25,000 people.
