📌 RECIPE AND INGREDIENTS:
Ingredients:
Potatoes — 6
Cabbage — 1/2 head
Onions — 2
Mushrooms — 4
Garlic — 3 cloves
Carrot — 1
Flour — 1/2 cup
Butter — 1 tbsp
Olive oil
Breadcrumbs
Tomato paste — 1 tsp
Fresh herbs (dill, parsley)
Salt, black pepper, Italian herbs
Egg — 1
Bay leaves, peppercorns
👩🍳 Preparation:
Prepare the potatoes:
Cut the potatoes, place them in a pot, add bay leaves and peppercorns. Bring to a boil, salt, cook until tender. Drain, remove spices, and mash the potatoes.
Cabbage filling:
Finely slice the cabbage and sauté in olive oil. Add finely chopped onion, seasonings, tomato paste, and garlic. Cook covered for 7–10 minutes.
Mushroom filling:
Sauté chopped onion, then add finely diced mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 5–7 minutes, add green onion and garlic.
Potato dough:
Add grated carrot sautéed in butter, chopped herbs, egg, and flour to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
Shaping:
Form balls and fill them with cabbage or mushroom filling. Roll in breadcrumbs.
Frying & baking:
Fry until golden, transfer to a baking dish, and bake for 15 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

Serve with a light salad or sour cream dipping sauce.
