JRPGs, visual novels and other Japanese genres tend to rule the collective unconscious and only a few old Western games from the 80s and 90s manage to have a great memory. However, the Western world, hidden behind PC games, AMIGA, Atari and other more obscure consoles had feats that manage to impress anyone, both on the musical level, in the story or in the gameplay... Even being the origin of the previously mentioned Japanese genres.
In this video some iconic songs from Western video game genres are compiled, such as CRPG, RTS, GA or FPS songs, especially from the 90s.
It ranges from soft music to hard and danceable music or epic songs.
