This is a fucking earthquake of a track. Each track on this compilation has been remastered perfectly and absolutely thunders. Thank you, Bob Weston. Yes, that's the Bob Weston of Shellac. All the tracks were recorded sometime during the mid 90s, during the band's active years, so don't let the release date fool you. Sheer brilliance. I'd really like to categorize 'before the train' as Really Loud Jazz. But stop me there if you must. Peace.
