Nice surprise today ! Cleo our Banana Spider gave us a huge ovulation this morning which means more eggs are due in 44 days ( 14 days to pre-lay shed plus 30 days to lay).
We put her to Joker our clown boy who locked 6 times during the season - so we are hoping for some Banana Spider Het Clowns due to hatch 16th August 2021).
Jared and I explain what to look for in an ovulation - some can be hard to spot. Cleo is a good example of swelling, tail suck, scale expansion and firmness in the middle section of her body.
Jared also spots Flame our fire girl is starting to get into nesting position with her tail coiled inside her body and moving onto the hot spot.
