Wow. It has been about FIVE years since my last guitar cover upload. I picked up my guitar for the first time in 5 years about 3 weeks ago, March 2021. After a few weeks of trying to find all of my equipment, as well as buying, and then hooking up some new things, I'm back! I'm excited to start playing for YouTube again! I'm going to be making my own covers again for entertainment, as well as (hopefully) teaching other guitarists how to play some of the songs they may want to learn. Starting with Drop Dead Cynical, I will also be making guitar tabs again, via Guitar Pro 6 and uploading the files and tabs to Ultimate-Guitar.
I just want to say thank you to all the people who are reading this who have been subscribers of my channel, from when I started my channel years and years ago, to now, especially those who never unsubscribed despite my obvious inactivity. Seriously, thank you!
So, I'm back, way older, and kind of chubby thanks to being physically inactive thanks to COVID-19. (...I'll be working on that though, I swear.) I also as of Feb. 2021 decided to start to grow my hair out, which is why my hair looks quite disheveled. Anyway, thanks again for clicking on the video, I really hope you enjoy it!

This song was the very first song I ever heard by this band, and instantly fell in love with them. This song has no extremely fast riffs, chords, or really anything difficult to play or learn whatsoever. That's partially why I chose it to be my first cover back on YouTube after 5 years. I didn't want anything too complicated especially since I'm just getting back into being used to my pedal/hardware/software after that long.
Aside from this song being simple, it's insanely catchy. I'm a fan of deep and badass sounding riffs, so I think you can tell why hearing this as Amaranthe's first song caught my attention.
