Restoring Mister Freedom Engineer Boots to original spec

With these Mister Freedom Engineer Boots the customer wanted to switch the boots back to the original spec. We started off by disassembling the shoe by taking off the old heel, sole, and welt. After that we stripped all the old over dye off of the upper. We then cut out new welt and re-welted the boots. The customer decided to go with Baker oak bark pit tanned leather for the soles. We then added the brass tacks on the sole in the same pattern as the original spec. Then we reused the original solid leather bases and added cats paw heels. Once we had the heels sanded up we dyed and waxed the edges. Then We finished up by conditioning and brushing the uppers.
