Penrith Garbage SL84 - Ex Ipswich Euro 3

Well that’s a rap up to this years penrith christmas collections, was definitely a very good one and was very fun to film with the other boys. here in this video we have the mean old raptor 84 working in penrith on the last day of chrissy collections which was today, this truck is from ipswich (queensland) and it has been servicing places in sydney for quite a while now, penrith and randwick are 2 of the main ones and it’s been to others for a short while like ryde/canada bay and st george. The driver was sort of new so he’s not the fastest but he revs the truck good and he likes the idea of us filming for youtube, this truck’s engine got something done to it about a year ago and it made it sound a bit cleaner which i guess is good for the truck but it just doesn’t sound as good as it used to. it took us a while to find this truck but when we saw it i’m happy we got a good video of it because this is probably one of the last times i get to see it in action, i have a little video put together for when it gets scrapped. another feature you guys may notice with this truck is the grabs are bigger than usual, that’s because back in queensland this truck collected recycle bins and most of them were 360L so they made them bigger at the time so they can grip them well, pretty cool seeing them on the 140L bins.
