Ever wondered what it's really like to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef? In this mostly silent video, we go snorkeling in four amazing locations along the reef in Queensland, Australia. Here are some tips:
Lady Musgrave – There’s a full-day cruise from the town of Seventeen Seventy (1770) - the sail takes about 2 hours.
Great Keppel Island – There is a 45-minute ferry that runs from Yeppoon. You can stay on the island and snorkel independently.
Magnetic Island – Take a 20-minute ferry from Townsville to get there. Once on the island, you can use the public bus and snorkel at your own pace.
Cape Tribulation – Take the half-day cruise that departs from Cape Tribulation to the cay and nearby reefs, about 45 minutes offshore
