2025 in four minutes

It is time to look back at 2025, a year packed with unforgettable moments. We opened with a sold-out New Year’s tour with Karsu and revived Het barre land with ISH Dance Collective, which also took us to the Hong Kong Arts Festival, where we've also performed with cellist Kian Soltani. We have welcomed first-time guests Bruce Liu on piano and Nils Mönkemeyer on viola. Our Sinfonietta String Festival Zeeland has been a great succes and we have brought the Formidable! tour - filled with French chansons - to a festive close at Carré.

We launched the new season as the main guest at the Prinsengrachtconcert and invited our friends Lucie Horsch, John Holiday and Huub van der Lubbe on stage. We have received heartwarming reactions to our tour with double bassist Rick Stotijn and violinist Vineta Sareika. With Palestinian singer Nai we have played a succesful tour including a performance on the Le Guess Who? festival. During the last tour of the year pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii took center stage and we have played Strauss’ extraordinary masterpiece Metamorphosen for 23 solo strings.
