Celebrity Examples of Sagittarius Mercury | Seeing Astrology

We live in the best time for studying astrology. Why? Because the internet! We have a newfound way to sort people by their planetary placements, and in so doing can see how placements consistently manifest. Never before have we been able to conduct this kind of pattern recognition work!


I'm planning on working on a few series, my first of which being, clearly, a Mercury series. For those newer to astrology, your Mercury placement indicates how you process information and communicate information, so it's going to manifest quite prominently during conversations. Your Mercury placement can only be in one of three signs: your sun sign, the sign preceding your sun sign, or the sign following your sun sign. In this series, I'll be including six clips for each sun/Mercury combo to hopefully help you get a good feel for how the Mercury placement comes across in different charts.

Keep in mind that people's interpersonal behavior will also be HIGHLY influenced by their rising sign, and their other planetary placements to a lesser degree (moon sign will come out in subtle ways). I thought about including the celebrities' rising signs in the lower third, but I thought that might detract from what I want this video to help with, which is discovering commonalities, not differences. (Also, not everyone's rising sign is available, since not everyone has made their birth time public!)

For Sagittarius Mercury, you'll notice across all three sun signs a certain aptitude for storytelling (hence the slightly-longer-than-usual length of the video). You'll also see a perpetual smile on their face, kind of: Notice how the corners of their lips are more often than not curled upwards, even involuntarily. In Sagittarius Sun/Sagittarius Mercury, you'll see great storytellers with jumpy charm. In Scorpio Sun/Sagittarius Mercury, there's Scorpio intensity (read: eye contact) tempered by Sagittarian mirth, buzziness and good humor. Finally, in Capricorn Sun/Sagittarius Mercury, you'll see the sparkle of Sagittarius liven up the typically more reticent, dead-eyed (lol sorry, Cap) Capricorn demeanor.
