Jeopardy! Main Theme Fanmade Version (Remake of 2001–2008 main theme)

This is a fanmade remake of the “Jeopardy!” main theme. Originally composed by Merv Griffin; also based on the modern arrangements by Steve Kaplan. I had intended this version to be the main theme for an animated version of “Jeopardy!” that I created for my own personal purposes back in 2007. I wrote and posted an earlier arrangement of the theme in 2014, but have since come to realize that that was not what I could have intended at the time, so I’ve gone back and remade the whole upload from scratch to be in line with what I imagined originally.

This theme is a remake of the then-current main theme which had been in use since 2001 and would be used until 2008. It is based on the regular version of the theme, but omits the electric guitars, as in the vamped version used before 2005 (though the saxophones are still retained), and also takes minor cues from the 1997 version. Road shows use the alternate intro from the original road show variant, and also decrease the pitch of both the main theme and the think music by 1 semitone.

Unlike the previous fanmake from 2014, this one more closely follows Steve’s arrangements of the theme, and as such, resembles how I could have actually interpreted it at the time I originally conceived my animated “Jeopardy!” concept.
