MTA Bus Company: 2024 New Flyer XD40 Xcelsior 9290 on the Q47 Bus (Post-Redesign).

Here we have 2024 New Flyer XD40 Xcelsior 9290 operating on the newly re-routed Q47 Bus at 75th Street & Broadway in Jackson Heights/Elmhurst, Queens.

Back on August 31st, the second phase of the Queens Bus Redesign took effect. The Q47 bus saw significant changes to its routing as it was re-routed to avoid the 69th Street Station, instead opting for a more streamlined routing by running along 75th Street heading south. The Q47 bus also swapped its northern terminal with the Q33, with the Q47 now terminating at Ditmars Boulevard and the Q33 terminating at the Marine Air Terminal.

This video here shows the Q47 at a newly placed bus stop along 75th Street. Glendale-bound buses used to stop in front of the station, but now that stop is occupied by Q47 buses heading to East Elmhurst.
