2025 Hip Hop was firing on all cylinders, on all levels, all year long. From up-and-comers like Chris Patrick and Bruiser Wolf to established acts like JID and Chance the Rapper, we got a LOT of great music this year. But I think when all is said and done, this year might go down as the year of the OG. We got albums from Nas, Mobb Deep, Ice Cube, Bun B, Big L, and Slick Rick, just to name a few. Whether you filled your plate with old school, new school, experimental, or anything in between, two things are certain: in 2025 we all ate well, and Hip Hop isn’t going ANYWHERE.
