Five Years since a Legend left us

Harley Race was one of the greatest wrestlers on the planet and is considered one of the greatest wrestlers to have ever stepped foot in any wrestling ring ever.

A draw across the US, all of the territories knew who Harley Race was. He started his career as Happy Humphrey's chauffeur and, like Johnny Valentine, got trained by the Zbyszko brothers.
Very early on, Harley got into a car accident and even though he was on the verge of losing his leg, somehow, Harley managed to overcome that and get back up on his feet (see what I did there..) and not only did he wrestle again but became one of the icons of wrestling.

From teaming with Larry 'The Axe' Hennig, to feuding with the likes of Jack Brisco, both Funk brothers, Giant Baba, Dusty Rhodes, and many many more legends. His most memorable feud just might be against Flair right around the time of the first wrestling PPV - Starrcade in 1983.
He won the world title 8 different times, and even after retiring he stayed on top of the business by becoming Vader's manager during his big run in WCW.

Harley will be remembered as a champion, a teacher, a legend and one mean SOB.
