A great way to improve your observation for Figure Drawing is to look at the subject 70% of the time and look at your drawing 30% of the time. In this video I'll explain exactly how to do that and what the benefits are for your expressive and dynamic drawing practice.
Edgar Degas said "Drawing is Seeing". In order to improve how you look at something, you should look at that thing, and not at your drawing! At first it doesn't make sense, but you will see a huge improvement over time in your observation and in your work.
