1:09 Fahrenheit Fair Enough
8:05 John Thomas on the Outside is Nothing but Foam
New Port South was a 2001 movie written by James Hughes. James is the son of legendary film director John Hughes (who also produced the film). It only screened at a few theatres, and in the past few years, the film's mention has been scrubbed from Box Office Mojo—perhaps because it never really got a theatrical release, so the "official" box office was less than $2000.
The soundtrack for the film was by Telephone Tel Aviv, a New Orleans–derived, Chicago-based American electronic music act comprising Charles Cooper and Joshua Eustis. In 2001 they were signed to Hefty Records, a label belonging to John Hughes III (another son of John Hughes), and put together a score with early versions of "Fahrenheit Fair Enough" and "John Thomas On The Inside Is Nothing But Foam." The film also included a remix of Nine Inch Nails' "Even Deeper."
The soundtrack is exceptional, but due to the lack of the film's success, a soundtrack was never released. Isolated from the DVD.
In 2009, Charle's Cooper died from accidentally (a mix of sleeping pills and alcohol) 01/22/2009, Telefon Tel Aviv has continued with Eustis as the sole official member and released Dreams Are Not Enough in 2019 and For James, to Sleep on 2020. https://telefon-tel-aviv.bandcamp.com
