30 Days in Hybrid Picking Purgatory

Nick Johnston, Julian Lage, Aaron Marshall, Danny Gatton, Jack Gardiner, Chet Atkins, Guthrie Govan... The list of guitar players that use hybrid picking as a key component to their playing style is long.
I've been putting off really getting this guitar technique down for years, going through periods of playing with it regularly and then falling back on my mix of legato, alternate picking and economy picking. One riff pushed me over the edge and I decided it's time I held myself accountable, discovering a few interesting things along the way.
