What's CHANGED? | REVISITING my Fishing Spot 45 years later

45 year's later, I return to a stretch of canal that I used to fish with my Grandad. This stretch of the Leeds and Liverpool canal was my 'stomping ground' in the late 1970's and early 80's. I fished many matches here and regularly pleasure fished here. Returning to this location reminded me of many happy fishing memories and also of a couple of funny fishing tales.

In days gone by, the fish in this part of the canal tended to be small roach, perch and gudgeon. bigger fish, such as bream and tench, are now present. During this session, I catch bream, skimmer bream, hybrids, roach and perch.

I set up a couple of float rods and fish waggler floats with worms, corn and maggot hook baits.
