GE2025: Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean not standing for re-election at Pasir Ris-Changi GRC

Singapore’s Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean announced on Monday (Apr 21) that he will not contest the new Pasir Ris-Changi GRC in the upcoming #GE2025. Mr Teo helmed Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC after the previous election.

Minister Indranee Rajah will lead a 4-member People’s Action Party (PAP) team at Pasir Ris-Changi GRC for the upcoming election.

Mr Teo said he remains “available to contribute” in any way PAP secretary-general Lawrence Wong sees fit. He also said that for this upcoming General Election, one of the important things is to help Mr Wong “have the strongest possible team to help Singapore face this turbulent future”.
