I'm making a barn window the shape of an obtuse equilateral triangle and installing it in the barn gable. This was the conclusion of a restoration project where the entire roof was rebuilt.
The window will only ever be viewed from ground level so i'm using rough cut two-by-fours that were planed on two faces. The frame is assembled with simple butt joints, screws and construction adhesive. I'm also reusing glass from some old windows. Expect no fine woodworking here, this is simple amateur construction carpentry.
