First proper session of the year...at last!
After a few false starts I fished Port Logan in The Mull of Galloway for early season pollack.
Weedless soft plastics and metals saw the first few pollack of the year come to the kayak with a few bonus coley (coalfish) thrown in as well. The last of the decent weather in March, it was a glorious day fishing the crystal clear water of the Irish Sea on the lures and light gear. A trip originally planned for Beadnell in Northumberland saw a mad dash across the country to beat the approaching weather front. I made it just in time and enjoyed a beautiful day afloat
