Catherine de' Medici is certainly not a forgotten queen, at least to those who love the royal politics of 16th century Europe. However, much of who she became and why she became that way in her younger years is often bypassed for the more scandalous later years of her role as regent for her sons. This video looks at the early years of Catherine, as well as how this affected her decisions regarding the future of France....
