Nevada Scenic Highway Cruise - Volvo VNL 860 | American Truck Simulator 1.57

On this trip, I hauled ice cream from Elko to Jackpot with double trailers hitched to the Volvo VNL 860. The drive was classic Nevada, wide highways cutting through open desert, rolling hills, and quiet stretches where the road feels like it goes on forever. With no winter snow mod, the environment stayed clean and simple, blue skies, dry terrain, distant mountains, and the usual mix of roadside motels, gas stops, and long straight lanes. The double trailers made the journey more interesting, especially through bends and tighter exits, where smooth steering and early braking mattered the most. Even with the added length behind, the VNL 860 kept things stable, pulling both trailers with confident power, steady speed, and that comfortable highway cruiser feel the truck is known for. The short route from Elko to Jackpot is peaceful but scenic, a kind of drive that lets you enjoy the road without rushing it, while still keeping the delivery sharp and clean. By the time I rolled into Jackpot, the haul felt satisfying, relaxed, and just right for a cool ice cream delivery across Nevada’s open roads.
