Julian Aguon is an Indigenous human rights lawyer and acclaimed writer from Guam who won the 2025 Right Livelihood Award for securing a 2025 International Court of Justice advisory opinion declaring states have binding obligations to address climate change. Aguon is founder of Blue Ocean Law and is on the Global Advisory Council of Progressive International.

The webinar gathered movement leaders to discuss how to better organize broad coalitions to stop the war machine and resist the global rise of right-wing authoritarianism and the Trump/MAGA agenda.

Brittany DeBarros is Organizing Director of the path breaking veterans organization About Face Veterans against the War. DeBarros is a former Army captain, combat veteran, activist, and previously ran for Congress in New York's 11th District.

William D. Hartung is a Senior Research Fellow at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft and co-author of the new book The Trillion Dollar War Machine: How Runaway Military Spending Drives America into Foreign Wars and Bankrupts Us at Home. Hartung is also author of Prophets of War: Lockheed Martin and the Making of the Military-Industrial Complex.
