Rather than wait and hope for his perfect bike to be built, Andy Scutt decided to build it himself. In doing so he might have also created something better than any of the brand's have come up with themselves in recent years.

Fusing a Honda CB500X twin cylinder engine into a CRF250L frame, and blending in some quality suspension, Andy has created a bike that is considerably more powerful, lighter, and frankly, better than anything available on the market right now in the lightweight Adventure biking world.

The fact his bike has completed over 26,000 miles since he built it, mostly on off road surfaces, without even the need for a valve adjustment, is mind blowing.

It rides with all the smoothness and refinement of a twin, can cruise at 80mph happily, but weighs as much as an off-road single.

Andy didn't just build his perfect bike, he built the bike that we all want. To use a term that gets thrown around far too much; this is the unicorn we all talk about.
