NLB's StarJet™, allows operators to remove runway rubber or pavement markings with nothing but the power of water. The system uses rotating water jets on a robotic arm that is mounted to the front of a flatbed truck. The 40,000 psi water jets completely remove markings or curing compound as the truck drives along the road, or remove rubber as it drives along the runway. The integrated vacuum recovery system collect the debris, leaving the surface clean and dry. Ultra-high pressure water jetting is faster and more thorough than grinding and does not damage concrete or asphalt.
