So I did a couple Caroline and Roman videos a while ago, and it was suggested I do an Elena and Roman au, so here it is.

Elena and Roman were an item until Romans work became more important than his personal life. It puts a huge strain on their relationship and they break up. Though they are broken up they still have each others back, and come running when the other needs help. They seem to become friends once again and when Elena changes her mind and decides to accept his proposal, she comes to realize it was all a fantasy and the man she loved has passed and she is left heart broken.
