How to Custom build a Moped - Fender

This build pushed the envelope. The layers of custom work put us in a spot... this combo of front forks and fender made for a scenario where a bolt on bracket was not available. Also, the wide forks (needed for the wheel/disk brake assembly) needed a "visual" to fill the gap. Therefore, a Custom Fender Bracket is what we needed to do.
"Built from nothing" may be a stretch, but hey... matter is never destroyed, only changed. So we started from a plate of 1/4" steel. The tools at hand helped too.
Every shop working on bikes or cars or whatever should have the following big boy tools at there disposal:
20 ton press
Lathe
Belt sander
CNC plasma cutter
in that order
With the above mentioned equipment (and the shop basics) you can fabricate anything you need. See how I used these tools in the video.
