Kanarra Falls Trail and slot canyon is located near the Kolob Canyons entrance to Zion National Park in Southwest Utah. The short hike has become very popular in recent years and the town of Kanarraville has implemented a permit system limiting hikers at 150 per day. We visited on December 26th, when the creek was half frozen and the number of hikers wasn't an issue. The water was cold and creek was half frozen over in places, but the experience second to none.
