Some kicking exercises from Kalarippayattu, the ancient martial art. In Malayalam, these are called Kalugal. The kicks are great for building balance, coordination and flow. Also, different kicks activate different Nadis (energy channels) and teach various ways of attacking and evasion. On top of that, they're great for fitness - I keep hearing people say that no aerobics or gym class has made them sweat as much or given them the same dynamic stretching as with Kalari kicks.
