An eagle's nest in the center of Spain: Cuenca

Hello everyone. We are Hennie and Joseph. We enjoy traveling and are fascinated by places with seas, beaches and rivers.

The city Cuenca is the capital of the province with the same name and part of the autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha. That is the region in the middle of Spain. The city of Cuenca is also known as the "Eagle's Nest" because of its position on the edge of a gorge.
