Singer Raquel Kurpershoek has one of those distinctive voices with an edge to it, but her flamenco is more lyrical and melodious than we’re accustomed to. Thanks to her mother – herself a flamenco dancer – she grew up with the pure tradition, but as a singer Raquel prefers to go her own way. Moreover, she writes her own lyrics and composes her own melodies. Let her and her talented band take your breath away.
