Introduction
Typhoid is an enteric fever caused by various species of #salmonella such as S.typhi, S.paratyphi A and S. paratyphi B. The #disease is characterized by sustained #highfever, severve headache, nausea, anorexia and constipation initially and later #diarrhoea. Humans are the only reservoir of the #bacteria. The bacteria is usually transmitted by five 'F's: flies, food, fingers,faeces and fomites.
