Another four families lost their shelters at Walvis Bay’s Kuisebmund on Monday morning. Firefighters are currently trying to put out the fire. A woman suffered slight burns in the fire that started from her shack. The Walvis Bay chief of fire services, Denis Basson, urged residents to make way for fire trucks to get to fire scenes. He also urged the public to report fires before attempting to put them out themselves. The fire department was informed of the incident by a resident who saw smoke from another part of town.
