Should China be concerned about US tariffs? Jeffrey Sachs, Carlos Miguel Gutierrez and more

"Let me just say that I disagree that the US is too big to ignore. This is Trump's delusion, by the way." said Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University.

"That has been a major instrument of US policy, sanctions. A positive aspect is that we get away from this automatic policy of anybody who does something wrong, sanctions, they don't work." said Carlos Miguel Gutierrez, Former U.S. Secretary of Commerce.

"The Europe would become less and less relevant. So we'll have a decline of Europe and a growth of Asia little by little." said Michele Geraci, Former Undersecretary of State at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.

Those remarks were made during this year's Bo’ao Forum for Asia. A panel discussion was held on US Foreign Policy and Its Implications on Asia-Pacific Cooperation.
