How to store LiPo battery safely - Bat-Safe tests

The purpose of this video is to show what is a Bat-safe battery storage box, what is included with it and how it performs when a battery inside of it goes off. Please read description for more info. Testing the Bat-safe with one 4S 5000 mAh battery. This battery is about the same as a common Phantom battery and this test should address most of the UAV users that use batteries this size.

Conclusion - out of all test I have done so far, the Bat-safe box is best solution for storing small and medium sized batteries. There was absolutely no signs of a fire on it after the first test, which it contained very well. Also both the walls and floor were unharmed. However, I would not suggest using Bat-safe box for batteries bigger than the allowed rating.

In both of the tests the battery fire was triggered by overcharge.
