Bengt Wittje - ADAGIO in G

This is a newly composed organ work called "Adagio in G" (both major and minor) by the Swedish organist, Bengt Wiltje played on my Hauptwerk Organ on "Dudelange" by Voxus Organs.

Sometimes I find newly composed organ music which I want to share with the world. This one is a nice one. A melodic and modern take on making a soulfull "Adagio". The piece is just a cantus firmus with a simple accompaniment. It starts in major with the clarinette on the positif as the main sound. Then the piece changes to minor and the melody is transferred to a more soft flute sound. In the end the theme returns back making the form of the work a classic A-B-A structure.

Bengt Wiltje is a swedish organist who graduated from the music academy in Malmø. At the current moment he is music director in the swedish town of Lomme.
