The Guide for How to SUCCESSFULLY Integrate Claude & Claude Code in Your Team's Jira Ticket Workflow

Enabling Claude Code to fully take a Jira ticket from start to finish has helped me demonstrate its incredible value to the business. AI’s ability to leverage its technical capabilities and connection to your data warehouse (see ) is taken to the next level once you can begin having it work on requests that are valuable to your stakeholders.

You can enable the large language model where it can read the ticket, research context, write and run the queries, store the output, and summarize the output. This is the actual process that I use today for how I am able to hand off real ticket-based work to Claude.

In this video, I’ll show you exactly how to build that workflow yourself including:

1. How to connect Atlassian (Jira) to Claude Desktop
2. How to use the Atlassian CLI + Atlassian MCP
3. How to enable Claude to operate as a scalable “AI teammate” inside your day-to-day ticketing system
