Moog: Messenger Synthesizer - Superbooth 25

We spoke to Eric from Moog at Superbooth 2025 about the new Messenger Synthesizer*, marking Moog's first synth developed under the *InMusic banner. This monophonic analog synth features dual oscillators, influenced by classic Moog designs like the Muse and Voyager, with continuously variable wave shapes. Eric highlighted the innovative wave folder adaptation from the Labyrinth and a sub oscillator with independent shape modulation, providing a rich, three-oscillator-like sound.

The synth's design includes Moog's distinctive oscillators, a new filter offering various pole modes, and unique res bass functionality for bass compensation despite high resonance levels. The Messenger is equipped with modern connectivity options and a 32-key keybed with aftertouch. It also boasts a 64-step sequencer and arpeggiator with generative capabilities, echoing elements from the Muse. Pricing is set at $899 USD and €849, with availability projected for early June.
