Laughter Yoga is not entertainment or amusement. It’s not a comedy show. It is an exercise programme. Laughter is an exercise for the lungs, and it helps to increase breathing capacity so that you can get more oxygen to the body and brain, leading to many health benefits. Just 10 to 15 minutes of sustained laughter practice, as we do in Laughter Yoga, will reduce stress and strengthen your immune system. If your immune system is strong, you will not fall sick easily, and if you already have a chronic health condition, you will heal much faster.
