Young go getter Jaz Lopez jumped at the chance to do some padwork with pioneer Ilonka Elmont, and I in turn jumped at the chance to film it.

I quite literally listened to Ilonka's wisdom for hours. In the near future I will invest in a better mic and a steady cam, bare with me!

The point of this Awakening Natural Series is to travel and capture female fighters in their natural habitat - in a fly-on-the-wall way. I want to capture the talent, banter, blood, sweat, tears and of course gaffs. I set the camera up, and leave it rolling.
