Welcome back to the Channel! Today we go out to Apple Valley to Jess Ranch Lakes to fish for tout. They have a tout that we have never caught before which is a Ruby Blue trout. Unfortunately, we didn't get to catch one this trip. Hopefully in the near future we will be back on the hunt for these Blue Ruby tout.
Unfortunately, we didn't find out till last minute that pets were not allowed. So we both took turns fishing and doggy sitting.
What is great about this place is that it is a no skunk lake. So if you don't catch at the big lake you get to fish the small pond for a free trout. Only Powerbait can be used.
This trip we used Powerbait Mice Tails. The white head with the pink body seemed to work great with our special sauce.
