Both my front side marker light bulbs were out in my newly-acquired 2013 R56 Mini Cooper, so I swapped them out. Apparently the "official method" involves taking out the headlights - that's not TOO difficult, but it's way more work than the way I show you in the video!
The replacement bulb type can be a 2825, 17177, or 12961 (with or without the -LL suffix).
Hope this helps you save some time keeping those annoying "light out error messages" off your dash!
